Rostock entered the chamber, with Oelereich close behind. He pointed out Maltheus and the Tech Priest nodded, walking toward the Inquisitor. Maltheus noticed the Mechanicus man walking toward him and went to meet him halfway.
"Magos Oelereich," Maltheus began. "I'm glad you made it safely. Thank you for responding so quickly."
He stepped to the side and held an arm out, to show the Magos all that they had found.
"This is the first find in a series, if all goes well, that will lead to the Appeal for our Order," He looked at the Tech Priest. "I need you to study this, and tell me what it is capable of. The other Tech Priests beleive it is an EMP cannon of sorts...capable of orbital blasts. I won't be staying, I have to go find the next device. I will keep in touch, and let you know when to move on...and where to go."
He stepped in closer to the machine man. For some reason, Oelereich was one of very few Tech Adepts that Maltheus felt somewhat comfortable around. He placed a hand on the man's shoulder, and spoke softly.
"Be wary of that one," he whispered, pointing out Ejerholm. "There's something about him. You are just as important to this investigation as they are, by my word. Are we clear?"
Oelereich nodded. Maltheus patted his shoulder and turned to his group.
"Alright, let's pack this up and move on," He called out. "Riley, help Leon. Marche and Rostock...gather the things we left up top. Mr. Markov, if you would be so kind as to get your men together, we will be leaving in fifteen minutes."
He turned to Stryde.
"So you will be joining us?" he asked.
She nodded. Maltheus smiled and turned to watch as everyone began their packing up. He was glad they were finaly moving on. He also felt better that Oeleriech was there.

The banquet hall was set and the servitors were on their way out when Inquisitor Maltheus entered. His guests and his team would be in shortly. He chuckled a bit to himself, feeling that this spread was quite reminiscent of his earlier meeting with Lord Blackbane.
He turned as the doors opened and Riley entered the hall. He was in his fancy robes and had obviously had a chance to wash up. Close behind him, Leon stood. He was moving slowly still, but had been seen to by the Med team. He wore his Class A, dress uniform, and looked slightly uncomfortable. Maltheus smiled and waved them in.
"Come on, you two," he smiled. "The others should be here shortly. I want you to know that I am very proud of both of you. You did quite well down there, Corporal."
Leon nodded.
"Sit," he said. "Have a drink. It is time to relax, and not worry about the things left behind."
The two young men noticed how very relaxed and much more happy Maltheus seemed on this ship. It was still new, but it was his. The doors opened again and Jenna Stryde walked in, followed by Major Silos, Markov, Dominic, and Dorsin. They were all dressed in their best and seemed to be just as glad as Maltheus that they were no longer on the surface of the planet.
"Welcome," Maltheus smiled and walked up to meet the arriving group. "Please sit and let's enjoy a meal."
The guests were all seated and talking quietly amongst themselves. Maltheus stood and cleared his throat. Everyone around the table looked at him.
"I just want to say," he began. "That I appreciate the help and cooperation I and my team received down there. I have already told them that they have done well." Maltheus scanned the table, from Rostock to Riley making eye contact with each one. "The relationships forged down there will not end with the conclusion of this meal. Lady Stryde, you will always have an aly and friend in myself. Whatever help I can give is yours. Raise your glasses, and drink to tommorrow."
They all drank and ate and for the most part were quite happy. Maltheus watched, content that things seemed right in his life. It had been quite some time since he felt that way.
Suddenly the doors swung open and one of the crew came into the hall. He walked to Maltheus and leaned in, whispered something in his ear.
He handed Maltheus a dataslate.
"My Lord," the crewman said. "I appologise, but the intelligence officer said that this could not wait."
Maltheus took the slate and began to read. His heart skipped a beat and the hair on the back of his neck stood on end. The name of the sender was enough to get his attention. By now the whole table had eyes on him.
"Go," he said absently to the crewman.
"Sir?"
"GO!" Maltheus roared. He stood and continued to read.
"What is it?" Riley asked, getting an angry glance from Rostock.
"It's impossible," Maltheus breathed.

OOC: Just had to add this little bit.
Earlier on the planet's frigid surface...
Raalthon returned to the full shuttle with Inquisitor Stryde and company. After a few momments work on the thrust stabilizers and weather compensators, he turned to the Inquisitor/pilot and assured her everything was acceptable for take-off.
The robo inflections of his voice trailed as he spoke. "Inquisitor, I will not fail your mission, nor mine. I realize that my presence here will be scrutinized, and will process a low profile. The Magos from your partner Inquisitor will be under the same. My calculations present that he may be the best route to cooperation." Through his vox caster a low hum blasted for an instant, it reminded Jenna of a vaguely human sigh.
"Thank you, Adept Raalthon. Your service has been impeccable. I will call on you in the future, take care of yourself." She glanced a quick grin his way as she continued with the shuttle's checklist procedures.
